The ParanormaL nous demontre ici que le rap et le hip hop ont comme racine le jazz, et que le melange entre le flow actuel des mc's et les racines musicals incarné par le jazz et les beats associés sont la solution pour sauvé le son des merdes commerciales. En tout cas si tu kiffes les sons façon jazzmatazz de Guru, la tu va aimer celui là. Franchement, tu rentre du taf claqué, tu t'allonge dans ton canapé lumière tamisée et tu mets cet album en fond sonore et là tu peux te laisser aller, on se laisse facilement emener.

VA - Lost & Found

Voici une compilation qui donne une vie à l'excellent et fait honneur au vrai hip hop en réunissant les artistes du premier niveau comme Artifacts, Zion I, Group Home, Sound Providers, tout cela mis en rythme par Pete Rock, Rob O, I.N.I, Count Bass-D, Diamond D, Erule et K-Otix. Après avoir vu cette grande variété d'artistes il n'y a plus beaucoup d'expectatives concernant ce disque très accompli et même parfois nous surpasse.
Lost et Found transforme les disques de compilation habituels grace à un son qui passe du rap classique vers plus de douceur avec ce rap - soul que Count Bass-D fait si bien puis le style caractèristique de Pete Rock nous remet dans le rythm. Tout cela subtilement sélectionné pour donner une vie à un album plein de talent, beats et rap, maintenant à vous d'écouter.

A noter ce son que je kiff grave Zion I ft The Grouch & Goapele - Flow (Fluid Remix)entre Zion I et Goapele pppfff trop bon.

Voici un artiste qu'il faut découvrir. Il nous vient de Phillie, et à commencer par chanteur dans un groupe de gospel, mais s'est tourné petit à petit vers le hip hop. On a pu le découvrir sur des collaborations avec Musiq soulchild, Bilal ou The Jazzyfatnastees. Pris sous l'aile de Rawkus ou du label Soulspazm Records, il nous livre un bon album sur lequel on peut retrouver par exemple Bilal, Jamal, Jaguar Wright et Chief Kamachi. A écouter donc.
